If God were to offer you perfect health, a guarantee of endless life on earth, no pain, no sickness, no sadness, unlimited recreation, financial prosperity, far-reaching influence, but you would not have Him, would you take the offer?
Heaven is heaven to the real Christian because he gets to spend eternity with God. Heaven is heaven to Jesus because He returns to intimate fellowship with the Father (John 17:5). Do you want God? Is He your primary motive for desiring eternal life?
