Sermon Snippet

Last evening I mentioned a few examples of the disparity between the biblical gospel and the false gospels of today. Please feel free to provide additional examples...
➢ The Biblical gospel says, “Come to Christ and be freed to make much of God."
The false gospel says, “Come to Christ and He will join you in making much of yourself.”

➢ The Biblical gospel says, “Your greatest need is a great view of God.”
The false gospel says, “God’s greatest need is a great view of you.”

➢ The Biblical gospel says, “The display of the glory of God’s grace in the cross of Christ is primarily for God’s glory.”
The false gospel says, “The display of the grace of God in the cross of Christ was primarily because He couldn’t imagine heaven without me.”

➢ The Biblical gospel says, “The chief end of man is to glorify God.”
The false gospel says, “The chief end of God is to glorify man.”
