Last evening's session was devoted to applying the phrase in 2 Chronicles 7:14; "Turn from their wicked ways."
One of the many convicting portions of the message that stood out to me was...
If the drawing near of God--in a manifest, reviving way--were dependent on the present-day fervency of my prayer life, forsaking of sin, turning to and yearning for God, etc... would there be any hope for genuine revival?
Though God's gracious work will indeed march on in spite of me, Oh to go hard after God today!
Who knows, whether He will turn and relent and leave a blessing behind Him? (From Joel 2)
