Note: All that can be quoted from the lips of God (on this side of heaven) can be found here.

But alas, today the distinguishing mark of a Christian is thought to be some one-time, individual experience that might or might not result in a changed life. To this idea we must say plainly: Repentance that is not ongoing is not genuine; faith that does not involve surrender is not adequate; a life in which holiness does not develop is not Christian. Jordan,
Piper for sure b/c immediately after conversion, his books were what was recommended to me by R. Hooker.
One of the great quotes with substantial lasting impact is from The Pleasures of God.
The definition of Grace...
"The pleasure of God to magnify the worth of God, by giving sinners the right and power to delight in God without obscuring the glory of God."
One Piper quote I found that has blessed me is in "Future Grace" (pg.317), ...."Our assurance does not lie in looking back to a momentary decision we made for Christ, but in looking forward to the certainty of God's preserving grace, based on the all-sufficient atonement of his Son's death."
Since I'm on the thought of good quotes, one of my favorites that I managed to use (not verbatim) while witnessing to two Mormon missionaries was by George Whitefield while preaching in the open air........"You are lost, undone, without God; and if He is not glorified in your salvation, He will be glorified in your destruction"
