Sports Post #2

Again, skip past this one unless you care something about sports.
  1. A miracle: Woo Pig! Itz...NOT...ooo...vuur as I suggested earlier. Somehow the kid played in the very first game of the season, and has been punishing defenses ever since. The hogs are for real! Watch out BCS.
  2. A potential miracle: This might mean that my small bears from the windy city will win the series for the second time in LESS than a century! Two years to go...and counting!!! Please let it work out! Pretty please! Especially since Sawyer is a Yanks fan and Bryan and I are Cubbies!

I'm still a little puzzled as to why they didn't go with Girardi? Looking on the bright side though, I think this only shows the cubbies intentions of winning NOW. Pinella is not there to build and go home, nor is he there to build and let someone win when he leaves. He's there to win now.

As for A-Rod, it would be great. I would deck the whole fam in Cubs A-Rod gear and parade around church just to see Nathan squirm. Except Brandy of course, she's not a Cub fan:-(

I still think that we would have to give up too much to get him. Too much = Zambrano. I don't think they can afford to do that. We'll see.

As always (without fail) this could be the year, right? If only Ryne Sandberg were still 25 and tearing it up at the two-bag position. A-Rod to Sandberg to Grace!

It's tough being a Cub fan.

You cub fans! I admire your loyalty. I pity your choices. I shall link arms with Mr. Sawyer. My soon to arrive baby already has plenty of yankee gear for next season and i can't wait to sit with him in my lap and root on the boys in pinstripes!

In Sawyers' defence he knows the cubs need the series so they can make an annual sallary close to the Yankee's money. Don't worry nate I got your back

JT,

Since nobody bit on the piggies comments...I'll talk a little trash that I know I'll regret around 3pm on Saturday...

Rebs 24, Hogs 21

McFadden limited to 71 yards on 22 caries. Jones gets 56 on 12. Mustain throws three INT's. And Patrick Willis and Rory Johnson combine for 38 tackles, 2 sacks, and a forced fumble.

Book it!
